Eli and Rebecca had their dream deluxe mountain wedding in Aspen, Colorado during the summer of 2020, August. The day began with getting ready in the one and only Little Nell Hotel. The Little Nell is a Five-Star, Five-Diamond, ski-in/ski-out hotel that is full of history, beauty and elegance! It was the perfect location for Eli and Rebecca to get ready for their first look. When dreaming up the perfect mountain wedding, make sure The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado is at the top of your list!
After riding up the Silver Queen Gondola, Rebecca met Eli for their first look. The gorgeous white Mira Zwillinger dress contrasted against the rugged gondola made for breathtaking photos. The ride to the top of the mountain was full of anticipation and expectancy. If the view of the Rocky Mountain peaks wasn’t enough to make your heart race, imagine also knowing your forever life partner was waiting to marry you at the top!
This wedding party knew how to party! Being surrounded by your friends and family is one of the best parts of getting married. When else will all of your loved ones be in the same place at the same time?! It’s always so much fun capturing these relationships.
Moving back inside, Eli and Rebecca took time to complete an important Jewish ritual; the signing of a Ketubah before the ceremony. The Ketubah is a Jewish marriage contract and is considered an integral part of a traditional Jewish marriage! This document outlines the rights and responsibilities of the groom, in relation to the bride. With a few of their closest friends and family, they each signed a Ketubah before the ceremony began.
This ceremony was sensational and truly breathtaking. From the skyline of mountain peaks in the distance, to the floral arch floating just above them, this Aspen wedding was one for perfection. Each vendor involved did their job flawlessly and made my job look easy! (A full list of vendors is at the bottom of this post.)
After the ceremony Eli, Rebecca and I snuck off to take advantage of the golden hour magic before the reception. The warm light made everything about the scenery and the couple glow! The sunset in Aspen, Colorado is always phenomenal.
This reception was extravagant! Everything about this night was lovely, from the greenery draping from the ceiling to the decadent dinner provided, this night quickly became a thing of dreams.
Eli and Rebecca entered their reception at Sundeck ready to party! The stunning views, vaulted ceilings and huge dance floor, made Sundeck the perfect place for this night to unfold. Click here** for more info about visiting Sundeck all year round!
This reception held more than just celebration, it was also full of meaningful tradition. The Hora is a traditional dance performed at Jewish weddings. During the Hora, the newlyweds are lifted into the air while their friends and family dance in circles around them! The couple each holds one end of a handkerchief or napkin to signify their union. It was a fun and simple act full of deep meaning!
